How we look after what you tell us.

The short version

• Website enquiries are sent by email to the clinic's team. The website itself stores nothing you send.
• Our forms ask only for what the team needs to contact you: an optional name, a phone number or email address, how you'd like to be contacted, and a short optional message.
• Please don't send health details through the website. The team talks about health with you privately.
• We never confirm or deny that anyone is or was a client.
• We don't sell or share your information for marketing.
• This website doesn't use analytics or advertising cookies.

Who is responsible

The Foundation Clinic is the responsible party for personal information collected through this website. You can contact the team at info@thefoundationclinic.co.za or on 062 676 1807.

What we collect and why

Enquiry, assessment and medical aid forms: an optional name, a phone number and/or email address, your preferred contact method, whether we should be discreet, a short optional message and, if you choose, how you'd like the assessment or your medical aid scheme's name. We use this only to contact you about your enquiry.

Referral requests from professionals: your name, an optional role and practice, a phone number and/or email address, your preferred contact method and an optional message, so the team can call you back about a referral. Please don't include any patient's details.

Health information is special personal information under POPIA. Anything you tell the team about health during a call, chat or assessment is handled as part of your clinical record, with the stricter protections that apply.

How website enquiries are handled

When you send a form, the website emails your enquiry to the clinic's team at info@thefoundationclinic.co.za and keeps no copy: nothing is saved in a database or a log on the website server. The website is hosted in South Africa by Xneelo. To prevent abuse, the server briefly keeps a scrambled (hashed) version of your internet address to limit repeated submissions, and deletes it within minutes; it is never linked to what you wrote.

Cookies

This website doesn't use analytics, tracking or advertising cookies. If that ever changes, we'll ask for your permission first and update this notice.

How long we keep it, and asking for deletion

Enquiries that don't lead to treatment are deleted from the team's inbox when they're no longer needed to answer you. You can ask the team to delete your enquiry at any time: email info@thefoundationclinic.co.za or call 062 676 1807, and say which form you used and roughly when.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by contacting the team. You can also complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa).

Keeping your visit private

If you share a device, use a private or incognito window. The “Quick exit” button at the top of every page leaves this site straight away.
